Managing Director, Legal Counsel and Business Development
With degrees in law and business, Kasia’s superior negotiating skills are matched only by her charm. She is an entrepreneur by nature, but started out with a law degree from the University of Warsaw and the American Law University of Florida, which she followed up by an Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) from the prestigious ESADE Business School in Spain.
Kasia started her career as a corporate banking lawyer for international banks where she had the opportunity to observe and work with successful and inspiring entrepreneurs. With the vision of merging her expertise in law and business, Kasia founded her own law firm, Legal Care, in the heart of Warsaw. Her experience acquired while working for banks in the area of financing major loans for large multinationals has allowed her to switch sides and work directly with large corporations on banking transactions.
As of 2012, Kasia heads the Interbank Group within the structure of the Polish Bank Association, an association which, among other things, improves the efficiency of banks by supplying them with standard loan agreements, good practices and other tools used in restructuring transactions and loans.
Kasia leads a busy life, but always leaves time for her passion to travel. Her love of sailing has taken her around the world. Starting out with the smooth waters of the glorious Polish lake district, her hobby took her to the Mediterranean, the Indian Ocean off the coast of Thailand, the open seas of the Caribbean, the Canary Islands, with the pinnacle being her trip around Cape Horn, a feat that is still considered the Everest of yachting excursions in the sailing world.
When not traveling, Kasia slows down to practice her faith as well as spend time with her husband Daniel and their families. In summer, she plays tennis and in winter, she skis. Kasia also indulges in hobbies that include healthy, raw and natural eating as well as taking her Thermomix to the limits by exploring new vegetarian recipes.
